A new modular Piper BootCamp online course with all new videos is in production. There will be five modules, each ending with testing. Passing all five will qualify you for the Professional Piping Designer Application for Certification Level I or II, depending on experience. The first module includes SPED Membership; Module five includes the Application for Certification fee. Each module will cost $500 and can be purchased separately. All five modules purchased together will be discounted. Once this new modular course is available, the old course will be discontinued. A preview of the first module will be available shortly. The old and current versions of the Piper Video Series are now available for purchase only as one package. The total cost has not increased; it remains $9,000. Purchasing the current package automatically entitles the purchaser to a copy of the new Piper Video Series with only shipping and handling charges.	Available Now
The new Piper Video Series is in production for release in early 2012. Each topic in the Series has been divided into four or five topics and over 150 new videos have replaced the old videos. All organizations who have purchased the series in 2011 or 2012 prior to this new release are eligible to receive this latest release for only shipping and handling charges.	Coming Soon!

It's a Charlie Brown Christmas at the Midwest Chapter
The Midwest Chapter in Louisville has been busy creating a Charlie Brown tree and a SPED ornament to hang on it. Their idea is "If Charlie Brown was a Piper". Thanks to SPED Chapter President Ron Waldon, C & I Engineering for the photos.

SPed pROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND MEMBERS MEETING FOR CALGARY CHAPTER

There will be a SPED Calgary Chapter meeting held Wednesday November 23^rd from 5:30 to 7:30 pm at the Unicorn Pub Downtown; covering the past year’s SPED Calgary news and achievements, what SPED is planning for 2012 and a review of the main SPEDweb.com site as well as the Calgary.SPEDweb,com site/blog

Dr William Beazley, executive Director of the Society of Piping engineers and Designers in Houston, will be the guest speaker. A review of October’s Annual General Business Meeting will be presented. This SPED presentation is open for attendance to all piping designers and piping engineers. Refreshments and snacks will be provided. Seating capacity for the Unicorn pub SPED presentation is limited to 40 people.
